We are NEFCCU!

Our History

It all started as an endowment fund during the year 2005 at the Church of Pentecost, New Fadama Worship Centre, as an attempt to provide solution to church members’ financial and economic burden like bereavement, natural disaster, marriage, Inability to source funding for trade and other personal financial needs.

The endowment fund grew into a parish-based credit union on 1st April, 2007 known as COP NFWC Credit Union and later opened its common bond to the entire community during the year 2012 when the name was changed to New Fadama Co-operative Credit Union (NEFCCU) as a community-based credit union. The union generates its strength from the trust of the members who have always recommended us to relatives, friends and people they meet day-in and day-out. Today, we have our own office complex building within the New Fadama Community.
